Happy New Year

Welcome 2009! Yay, it's a New Year!!!
Goodbye 2008, Good Riddance ;)
I'm enjoying the unsung promises & potential of a new day.
And I am wishing each & every one of you the same,
Here's to health, happiness and living a good life in 2009-
I closed the studio & took a trip back home for the holidays to spend a little time with lots of family. I always travel armed with my camera and I had a few projects planned while I was in town...

#1) Sisters portraits with my two gorgeous cousins, Alice & Adele.
Believe it or not, they are both younger than me!! But I look sooo much younger (not to mention am a foot shorter!) than them and Adele is only 15!

#2) Portrait of my 80 year old grandma.
I don't think this needs much description until the post. My grandma is amazing & my favorite person in the whole world. (Except hubby- of course :) love you hun) I wanted to capture her beauty at this amazing juncture in her life.

Of course I took a ton of 'snapshots' & I'll be some of those sharing later this week!
