A couple of weeks ago, Adrienne and I met up at the fantabulous Cindy Patrick's home for a different kind of photo shoot. The shoot was for Pasty by Choice, a campaign started by Cindy and Dr. Shawn Sabin, to help educate women of all skin types about skin cancer and that it's ok to be your natural skin color! As I have gotten older, I have more respect for my skin that I never had as a kid or teenager. I remember growing up in the 80's, we were all so foolish, we actually used baby oil on our skin when we went to the lake or laid out in the yard! It makes me fearful of what my future may hold.
One of the most important messages that the ladies of Pasty by Choice want to deliver is that there are so many safer alternatives to tanning beds! Most salons now offer spray tans that are very natural looking and the best part is that you won't have to worry about wrinkles and sun spots before you are 30.
This beautiful young lady is going to be the face of a new ad targeted toward young sun seekers. Gorgeous!
It's amazing how all of these women looked alike! We had so much fun getting to know everyone and talking about movies. It's nice to get together with such a vibrant group of ladies. "Mom" kept us laughing and her adorable labradoodle was so entertaining. 
Thank you to Dr. Sabin, Cindy and to these "Pasty" women for caring about such an important cause! Pale is Beautiful!!
